On the Spanish side of the border, the Aigües Tortes national park comprises about 300 mountain lakes in all sorts of contorted shapes, giving the area its name - the Twisted Waters. Its other name is the Encantats, the Enchanted mountains.
It is a wild area of staggeringly beautiful scenery, with granite towers and pools seemingly at every turn of the path. Join us in exploring the scenery, flowers, and wildlife of this amazing corner of the Pyrenees.
